INTERDIMENSIONAL DEMON SLAYING SAMURAI WARRIOR

"A portal has opened up in the sky - Demons pour through into this world. A rocket has been set up to destroy the rift, defend it until the fuse runs out."

My first game on itch.io, created for VillageBear's GAME JAMuary over the span of a month. The theme was fireworks, although the game ended up being kinda unrelated :P

The minimalist art style is inspired by the flash series Armed with Wings, and the direction-based combat system comes from Smash Bros.

Check the ingame tutorial to see how to play, movement is WASD and menu controls are Arrow Keys and Enter to select. I didn't have time to add gamepad support or compose the music so I may come back and do them in future.

Edit: Updated to GMS2 and changed exe to an installer, so hopefully it won't set off any antivirus programs anymore.
